Pakistan's all rounder Sohail Tanvir has said that the BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) is not in same attraction as the IPL(Indian Premier League).
Tanvir who was playing for Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition of the IPL. He said while has was enjoying BPL and also said BPL ccould not be compared to IPL.
I don't think any one can compare IPL and BPL. IPL was much bigger scale and is still a biv event. And the BPL will surely take time to establish itself as big event like IPL, "Tanvir said".
Tanvir said "It is the good initiative from Bangladesh cricket. It will give big boost to Bangladesh cricket and its players who can learn a lot playing with so many foreign players".
As PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf also claimed that he will hopefully launch Pakistan Premier League this year.
Ashraf said "We are in talks with different sponsors to start the PPL and i am sure we can launch this event in this year. We see it as platform to bring back international cricket to Pakistan.
As PCB has been trying to hold PPL for last five years but due to lack of sponsorship and reluctance of foreign players to play in Pakistan and they have failed.
