Once again Indian batsman failed against Australia. Australia beat India by 110 runs in tri series.
Earlier Australia won the toss and chose to bat first. David Warner and Mathew Wade has given good start to Australia but both have missed their half century. It was seemed liked Australian batsman would be struggle for runs when India have dismissed 3 batsman very early but after that Peter Forrest (52) and Mike Hussey(59) have played they have added 100 runs from 92 balls while David Hussey(26) and Daniel Christian(30) smashed 65 runs in just 36 balls.
Australia set 289 runs target for India to chase.
India have started their inning with Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir. Sachin Tendulkar who is still waiting for his 100th century but pressure of 100th century once again he failed to runs and he got out Gautam Gambhir also could not do well and got out in second over of Brett Lee.
The combative Kohli refused to walk until third umpire Bruce Oxenford confirmed the ball had carried, which he did despite replays appearing to indicate there was some doubt.
The Indians tried to recover but lost wickets at key moments and were unable to boost the run rate enough to stay in touch with the asking rate.
